I am not sure if anyone travels down to St. Louis City DT very often but I was wondering how the Bottle District, Pinnacle Casino, and Ballpark Village were coming along?

Watching Florida play Oregon in NCAA basketball in the city I could not see anything being down with the Bottle District.

Default Development

Hi there! Thanks for asking. Are you originally from here?

I don't know much about what is happening with the Bottle District. There doesn't seem to be much movement, but I don't usually get close enough to see the ground there. They do have a website, so you can get the "party line" from there. <http://www.thebottledistrict.com>. I hope the new concert venue remains in the mix since we just lost our beloved Mississippi Nights! Hopefully MissNites will re-open; they're talking about a location near SLU... I had heard we were going to get a House of Blues, but now I hear it is a CaboWabo. I hate chains, but it's better than nothing, since I live nearby.

As for the Ballpark VIllage, if you've lived here, you know the pace of development projects. Here is an article. <http://www.stlrcga.org/x2197.xml>. I go by there infrequently, and right now, it's just a flat field.

The friggin Pannacle Casino is HUGE! It sits right up against Hwy 70 just across from the Dome, and it is well underway. It will be seveal stories higher than the overpasses, and I can't tell quite tell yet the layout of the place or how much is parking garage, but it's big IMHO.

How did we look on TV? I always hear that they say nice things about us on the BB coverage.

Actually I was raised, and I am still living in Overland Park, Kansas, which is a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri. I really find it boring here, and think that the St. Louis lifestyle is more intriguing, exciting, and just plain better.

I would have to say that the St. Louis area looked great on TV. They displayed an aeriel view of St. Louis looking south, most often, and then one view from across the river I believe. Everyshot showed the football stadium though, as that is where the teams were playing.

I could see the Pinnacle hotel but the shot was too short to notice anything else.
