Zinc is essential for a number of things including digestion, healing, immunity, prostate and semen health in men, sense of smell and taste, etc.

Recommended dose is no more than 50mg daily.

It is best taken with a large meal to prevent the zinc from causing nausea.

I take Zinc once or twice a week. More when I feel the sore throat of a cold, or after lots of sexual activity.

I'm pretty zinc-deficient by nature. It is probably the single most efficacious supplement I've ever taken.

I don't even mind the nausea. I push on through it and have never vomited from it (but I haven't vomited in 11 years now).
