Hello! I am planning on attending SU in the fall. I haven't been able to visit, so if you could help me out, maybe give me some facts, etc.? I am fully aware of the snow, which is not worrying me at all. I come from a VERY small town, and would love to hear from people living in the area. I am interested in the crime rates (is it safe, or crime infested, and if so, which parts of the city) and the overall appeal of the city/school. Any and all help would be appreciated!!

Thank you VERY much,
Heather

Hello Heather

In general the campus is safe. It's located in an urban area, so there are problems but f you take the necessary precautions and aren't stupid (i.e. walking alone @ 3AM with your ipod in your ear) you'll be fine. As far as the safety in the rest of the city I'm not as much of a help. I don't know what your planning for living arrangements, but if it's not campus housing I'd suggest either in the neighborhood between Comstock and Westcott or commute in from the burbs if you have access to a car. Anything else you'd like to know?
