But disagree. Apple's pricing has always been significantly higher then Windows, pound for pound (spec for spec).

I think we actually agree with each other. I was just speaking hypothetically about my 7 year old PC which was a maxed out top of the line model and cost quite a bit when new. I agree with you that Macs actually cost more than PCs do. My own opinion of my MacBook Pro is that it is an awesome machine, but wasn't worth the extra money I ended up paying for it. I could have had the same results for a lot less.
Keynote is a fantastic program! Definitely prefer it over powerpoint. However, I also had to lay out money for MS Office 2011 due to so many visiting presenters using powerpoint. In the work I do, powerpoint is required. The point? I had to buy both on the Mac, but only one on the PC.

Yeah, and mess up all of the formatting when it does too. Sorry, but almost every program that opens powerpoint files mess them up. Since we do not have time to fix them we just buy powerpoint.
From a pratical point of view, Samsung is more open with its software and hardware. Apple is just overpriced.....Can you find 3 reasons why to choose Apple?

As a scientist I have been taking presentations to conferences and symposia for years. I can honestly say I have never had keynote mess up anything made in pp. I HAVE seen pp mess up older or new things made in pp though.
I prefer the iWorks suite over the over-bloated mess that is MS Office.

For pages, and keynote I agree but numbers is just needs to put out of its misery. Its a mess.
