I am looking to hire a firm to manage my IRB property. The primary purpose for this is to start renting it out to vacationers when I am not in Florida.
I am looking for advices from others who have done it regarding the ins and outs to be aware of.
I know I am late on this forum but came across your post while looking for Boyette Oaks HOA.
The above post is good, but in addition to affiliation with contractors the manager needs to be familiar with the market, have thorough knowledge of the law (to avoid issues for self and owner) and have experience. Nothing erks a tenant more than an u responsive ill informed manager that does not return calls or have answers/solutions!!!! I rented from Home Encounter and it was a horrible experience!!!! I am advising from the professional and consumer standpoint, as I am a licensed association manager and licensed realtor specializing in property management; with that in mind I rent a 3500 square foot home In wesley chapel and I have to deal with both a poorly functioning hoa and a property manager with little experience....
