And so the solution is to do the exact same thing that didn't work for you but from a screen?

Some schools are better than others, but good teaching doesn't look like you described.

I don't understand that comment. If I am learning online when I have understood the concept I can move on. In a classroom I have to wait for all 30 kids to understand. How is that the same?

Maybe we are imagining different things? Can you give me an example of what you think a good online lesson might look like?

Is the lesson long enough to get the smartest kid in class to understand or the dumbest? Do you as a student decide when you understand? How do you know?

They can replay the video until they DO get it and test out.

Do you call sitting in a classroom with 30 other morons "enrichment"?

How do you teach a kid to read in a classroom of 30 kids?

How do you ensure they watch and pay attention in the classroom? If the kid can't pass the end of video test they can't proceed. Simple.

May I ask you two questions?

1. What do you do for a living?

2. When and where did you go to school?

Edit: actually I should also ask if you have kids and what age.

I do not see why these questions are relevant to the discussion. All I can say is I went to public schools and have a B.A. degree. I am self employed.

Trying to ascertain your experience base relevant to the conversation.

How do you train your employees?
