Yep. I’ve worked in a few districts in my career where SPED teachers either had a stipend, or were on their own pay scale. No way would I agree to work SPED without it, as it is A LOT more work than gen ed.

Look at a salary schedule. Unless a special ed teacher gets a stipend they get paid what everyone else does. These are public records.
