I was wondering what your thoughts are for teaching opportunities in cali. I'll be job-hunting for a teaching position for 09-10 school year. I live in the high desert and I keep hearing from teachers and administrators that they will probably not hire as anticipated because of the low enrollment numbers coupled with the budget cut. Anyways I know of a couple of schools opening within the next year but are not in my area. It looks to me that my chances for a job seem "down the hill'. (Which is no surprise to me) but just curious if anyone else is currently looking for a teaching job or is in a teacher credential program.
