It looks like I have a job waiting for me in Clarksville, but I don't want to live in a city again. I'd like to find a rural/country area with only a couple 1000 live at most where houses are spread out a few blocks and I can still drive to Clarksville with in 15-30 minutes. What suggestions of places to live would you have in mind that are near Clarksville.

You have a choice between parts of KY and TN. If you want to be rural look north or east from the city. With Ft Campbell nearby may still have some 101st Airborne people nearby. The 15-30 minutes may depend if your job is downtown Clarksville or elsewhere. You may not mind doing most of your shopping in Clarksville.
