Might be the biggest day since 4/27/11. Haven't seen this many TOR warnings with confirmed large tornadoes on the ground within a couple of hours in several years. This is a very potent system.

This maybe Iowa’s worst outbreak in years. A large tornado was filmed in Wappello County this afternoon. Lots of damage being reported in some areas of central and eastern Iowa.

So far there's been 55 tornado reports today.

This was a well-forecast storm with multiple days of advance warning.

In all, meteorologists counted around 150 total tornado warnings, 36 of them were "PDS" tornado warnings.
