What the hell?

I've been in bed all day with the flu. High fever, just trying to sleep. The sound of the wind woke me up a couple of times tonight. It sounded like a train going by. My curtains were moving and the windows are closed! And I had to turn on the air conditioner (I've been meaning to take them out of the windows but haven't gotten around to it).

It's the middle of November!

I have my cats in the bedroom with me and their carrier in case we need to make a fast trip to the basement. All I can hear right now is stuff blowing around outside.

Stay safe and I'm happy that you also think about your pets. One of my pet peeves is when people just leave them and figure they can handle storms and floods themselves.

Kind of strange weather, isn't it? There were two people killed in NC by tornadoes last night, too. It seems late in the year for that. NOW a cold front is heading eastward.

I would risk my life for them. They're my babies.
