It's Antelope Canyon in Arizona, lieqiang. Well worth a visit even if it's out in the middle of nowhere. My camera and photographer skills don't do it justice.
If I remember correctly it was formed from sandstone and flash flooding then the wind whistling through does the rest. Really quite the most surreal place I've ever been.
All of your pictures are fantastic. You seem to be really well-traveled.
Sunset over Lake Ontario
Picture was taken from Long Point State Park in Chaumont, NY A great spot to camp if you are into that sort of thing.
Sunrise over Lake Yellowstone. Picture taken from the restaurant deck at Grant Village 2012
Those are nice, I'm not sure if it has to do with low quality of my camera (cheap Chinese cell phone) but I can never get the sun halfway down the water like you can, it always washes out. I can get skies just fine, but sun just too contrasty (if that is a word) to get the classic half-sphere.
The other canyon pics triggered me, I try to go to the Snow Canyon area in So. Utah in winter/early spring to hike around but now it's been a few years & I miss it.
I believe the car and bicycle are in Haarlem in The Netherlands. The 2 buildings and the windmill are also from there. The big tower(water?) is in Delft.
The car is cool because it is a 2 seater. The real little one seaters can drive on the walking paths. The windmill is cool and they give tours of it and serve coffee on cold rainy days.
I have 1000s of pictures of all over the US and from several trips to The Netherlands. Sadly they are on old hard drives, a old desktop I haven't used in years, and piles of memory cards that don't work in anything new.
