Yes soccer is big in tri-cities and Wa in general in the past it was the host city for the U-14 League Placement tournament which is no longer being held. Three River Soccer club is the premier club for the area offering year long soccer for u-11 up.

OMG this made me remember the first year I moved to my house in Pasco which is near the soccer fields behind the track. It was 2003-2004 when we had that bad winter with lots of snow-they plowed the fields so the kids could have some sort of tournament. It was CRAZY with snow banks on either side of the fields-poor kids must of been freezing their bits off! Too crazy for me to allow a child to play in that kind of weather.

Is there a good indoor soccer facility with adult leagues?

Really not needed. While some winters can be severe, (or severe by Tri-Cities standards, LOL), most are mild and kids sports are massive in this area mainly due to sunny and mild to hot weather. The area attracts tons of little league tournaments from all over the State every year. Especially with baseball in the Spring/Early Summer.

As for soccer, another poster mentioned the soccer fields near Gesa Stadium in Pasco. Any given Saturday morning during soccer season will provide thousands of players and parents on the multiple fields. It is as if the entire area has congregated to these fields! Southridge in Kennewick is almost as busy.

I think the OP has "left the building" and not around on here anymore - not sure if he was on about kid's soccer or semi-pro soccer to watch in a stadium. I agree that there are plenty of kiddie opportunities, and for that matter at work we have a "pick up" - not really league, but just the opportunity to get together with some co-workers after work and kick the ball around. "Penny a point and no one's keeping score."
