What about the Prescott vibe did your wife not like?

She said Prescott looked "old and tired." I liked Prescott myself. I think because we now live in a planned community where you will be fined if you don't keep up your property and we pay to keep everything pristine and well-groomed and I think that affected her opinion on Prescott.

I see. Parts of Prescott are "old and tired" looking, like the historic area southwest of downtown.

I like the differences in town everywhere myself.
