The very first segment was taken at 6:19 on 10/20/2021. The video tells the rest of the story. I am very glad the fire was put out, and our lovely Santa Rita mountains are no longer burning!!!

Glad the wind didn't kick up and they were able to put it out relatively quickly. Good job, firefighters. Thank you for the video!

I was thinking the same thing about the wind wildflowers27! I am VERY happy that the fire seems to be out, and not much damage was done. I hear it was about 9 acres or so. I also heard that there were about 50 Firefighters on the job and as you said KUDOS to them!!!

What about the bigger fire called Hudbay? We all need to band together and put that fire out if we really care about the Santa Ritas.

There is another thread about that issue: Green Valley residents...Any thoughts or concerns on the new Copper mine going in near you? (homes, construction)
