David Lewis, you may prefer the "Threaded" view which can be found in your user settings.

Click My Settings
Choose Edit Options in the left column

Scroll down about half way and look for "Thread Display Mode" select Threaded and save.

If it is not to your liking you can always change it back.

Hello David, I live right off of 4th ave and love it. I walk everywhere and ride my bike. I would recommend anywhere by the university or downtown, it is urban and very open minded and I always feel a sense of community. To get a garage you may have to go further north, most of the old bungalows and charming houses downtown do not have garages, just so you know. Good luck!!!! If you want to love your neighborhood look into West University, Iron Horse, Sam Hughes and Armory Park neighborhoods. These are all lovely, walkable and safe.
