Just filed for unemployment last month. Received the max for waiting period one week last week. Advised that California issues payments bi weekly after re certifying. So will 405 be doubled then on the next payment? I called this morning and rep advised bi weekly, but I forgot to confirm with her. I'm assuming I'm correct ? Each payment from now on will be doubled? Customer service is closed 8-12 pacific, so I missed calling back
You would have received an award letter that basically states that if you are approved for benefits, your claim is good for one year and they will give the dates; that your maximum benefit year payment is a certain amount; that the total benefit amount will be paid to you at a specific weekly rate until exhausted. No need to try calling or anything, you should already have had that information in your hand.

California issues payments bi-weekly, not weekly. I guess other states are different. I've already gotten the paper work and the one week waiting pay. My question is regarding the bi weekly payments which I'm assuming would be doubled
You would have received a form that looks like this: Notice of Unemployment Insurance Award
Note it clearly has your weekly benefit amount listed. Take that amount and double it.
If you did not get one, you need to find out who stole your mail.
