Hello,
I filed a new claim the day after my old one ended on June 28th. I have not received any communication from EDD that my claim has been approved or not. What should I expect at this point? I am broke after paying rent, lol.

Did your claim exhaust (no more funds) or was it the end of your benefit year?

Do you have enough wages in new base period to be eligible for new UI claim? they will need to review for UI claim eligibility. If not you should be entitled to the 13 week PEUC extension which others have said showed up in their accounts under their expired claim as "on extension" and the 13 weeks added.
