Hi everyone, I'm wondering if it's possible to receive retroactive benefits for the time spent out of the country because of the pandemic.
I have dual citizenship US-ESP and work as a bartender, so once the bars closed here in NY my economical situation got really scary and I had to go back to Spain and stay with family.
Due to the same economical situation (and because everything was still closed) I wasn't able to come back until recently and I have filed my first and second claims, hoping I would at least get some of the money from the last few months to help while places start opening again, and today I received a questionare about my ellegibility for due payments where it looks like I have to say I wasn't ellegible all those weeks because I was out of the country?
It looks like my claim is approved anyway but I'd like to know if there's a way to get around this.
