Did anyone else watch this 3 episode show researching the DNA of alleged Bigfoot, Yeti, and Russia's version of Bigfoot? It was very interesting and done from a scientific research point of view.

If they actually have his DNA, then he's no longer "alleged". It probably isn't "his" DNA. A tuft of orangutan or bear fur, or something.

Everyone is cashing-in on the bigfoot frenzy, and they all rely on the same lack of evidence.
"Listen, there's something over there."
"Here's a sample of what we were told is bigfoot hair."
"There are just too many witnesses for it to be a hoax."
"I wuz own mah back porch when a dark, hairy figure came outta them woods. I knowed it wuz a bigfoot cuz it was too tawl ta be a mayun."

I'm going to intercede right now, and remind everyone that personal attacks, flaming and insults are not allowed. Please report these.

However, disagreeing with a poster, not liking what a poster says, being oversensitive and questioning word choices as being "mean", getting upset about being questioned by another poster, and asking questions of a the mod ... are NOT reportable.

I do not want another spate of 28 mostly nonsense reports in a week. If you need to ask me a question, DM me. Don't use the report function.

Reporting stuff you don't agree with is actually abuse of the report system, and, I will be infracting for it...it just got to be too much last time. Let's remember we're all adults here.

DM = Dungeon Master? I wasn't aware that was a verb.

I didn't because if they'd found anything it would have been huge news since it would be valid scientific testing.

So, knowing ahead of time that they found nothing it would be really hard to invest the time to watch 3 episodes of them regurgitating all the various myths and then putting out some sort of sample trap or getting samples from people claiming to have found one and then testing it and coming up with "bear" or "orangutan" etc.

If I'd heard they'd found something concrete then I'd most likely watch the show.

Unless the documentary was filmed in Borneo or near a zoo, I doubt very much that DNA results would yield "orangutan."
