I would want to be careful about buying a condo, because of the age of the units. Would you have to update to be happy?

And yes, I think it is a nice area,
I'm not a golfer but the green space was attractive. I only looked at condos and they seemed fairly quiet. One did look a bit dated and would have to be somewhat updated to look better so I guess that was a bit of a turn off. I was told they sell quickly but not sure about that. Thanks for your insight.

If leasing is an option... and you would like to be walking distance to Downtown...(buses, Library, waterfront (commerce and walking, Marshal Center (+ senior center), Clark College, Farmers Market, ...))
Consider https://www.historictrustproperties....ntial-leasing/
https://www.historictrustproperties..../contact-form/

Or... there are some really nice townhouses to the east side of Ft Vancouver Visitors Center (about 3 blks east) and some Portland / west hills, view props near Blind School (or above near Dubois Park, Father Joseph church)

Another popular Vancouver Walking area (runs (East - West from Vancouver Lake to ~I-205)

What type of walking? (in town / greenbelt) or trails?
This will give you links to both:

(Being near Fishers Landing / Cascade park will avail bus service to Columbia Gorge https://gorgetranslink.com/transit-a...ounty-transit/

Very easy to determine, as WA is a public reporting state for RE (taxes due at sale), so... you can find out specifically what sold when and for how much. You can look at online data and get 'time-on market' for those specific properties from the board of realtors.

The houses turn over. I don’t know about the condos.
