My mother just moved down from Anchorage and is looking to get into a senior living place.
She's pretty independent and doesn't have any medical issues requiring on-site assistance.
Her budget is small, about $1000 a month.
We've looked a few places (eg The Bradford), but they are out of her budget.
She'd like her own place, say in a 55+ trailer park. She'd take a senior apartment, but likes to have her own place to plant and decorate things.

Does anyone know of anything like that? Perhaps a number she can call to get help finding a place?

$1000 / month will be a challenge

I really like this park for seniors, (But... transportation is a challenge (out of city))

Homes are set on a hillside and handcapped accessible from carport.

Personally I would avoid the trailer parks. Most of the original owners of those places are being bought out by corporate or out-of-area investors who’s motivation seems to be profit maximization or redevelopment of the land. Every 6 months or so there is another horror story in the local papers about some local trailer park that is screwing its long-term residents in some way. And once you get into one of those places it is very hard to get out because moving an old mobile home can be literally impossible. So I get the sense that the golden age of trailer park living in this region is rapidly passing.

As for other options? I don’t have a good answer for you. The cost of senior living is riding the same wave of appreciation as the rest of the real estate market. That is unavoidable. So it has all gotten much more expensive in recent years.

Find a ROC.... (Resident owned community)

We have added several to WA and Oregon in the last 10 years...

Home values in a ROC where I am tonight are 3x other parks.

No one is gonna yank the park out from under you when you own it...

https://rocusa.org/

Not all ROCs are members of this non-profit... There are many unaffiliated ROCs.

Just another option. (There are many).

Well....according to the web site you linked to, the closest ROC is in Longview. None in Vancouver or surrounds.
