I'm sending this out early to get a feeler from you all to know where I should start looking.
I currently live in Hillsboro, Oregon and my girlfriend is in Pendleton, Oregon! We are preparing to remedy that situation in April when she will be moving in with me. My Lease is up June 1st and I am wanting to find something between Woodland and Vancouver that will fit our needs.
Basically we are just going to be happy to be together finally, and I don't plan on renting for more than a year or two before we will look toward buying our first home. In the mean time I want a safe place that is affordable enough that we can save some money over the course of the lease. She will be working in Longview and going to school in Portland. I will be working in Portland for a 'railroad' that will remain nameless! lol I'm super excited to be taking this step with her but I'm also interested in good footing! I don't want a bad neighborhood, or anywhere that is unsafe for her. I do not know washington well at all, as I'm not from the Northwest originally.
I guess this is enough to start off... I will check back here daily to see if anyone has added anything?! Thanks for your time
