Hi everyone! I'm interested in cooking more dishes using "ancient grains" with vegetables...

I keep buying the grains and then not using them-- but this time I really want to eat more of them!

Do you have a favorite cookbook with good (and simple) recipes for cooking with these grains?

Grains like millet, amaranth, millet, quinoa and such?

I have an Insta Pot that I've not yet used..do you use yours for preparing grains more quickly??

Thanks for your advice and recommendations.

I was gifted, Grains For Every Season by Joshua McFadden and I highly recommend it. Many excellent recipes.

We use our InstantPot quite often, with grains we probably use it 50% of the time. If we are short on time or the weather is hot, InstantPot, in the cooler to cold months we cook on the stove predominantly.

Macrobiotics is based on grains, so any macrobiotic cookbook should have a good selection of recipes. (I used to be quite invested in macrobiotics.)

Also I like this book a lot:
