This is going viral on the internet right now. It took 4 years for someone to notice this?

I was surprised when I found out they were made in 2008....whole thing could have been avoided.
Too late now.

I applaud the inmates for their bit of harmless creativity. Humor even at the expense of the authorities is good. I'll bet the guards working at that prison even got a laugh at it. At least if they had a sense of Humor, and if you don't have one corrections ain't the place to be.

I think it's funny. They could alter some other items in the picture to make a flock of chickens or something. Make a nice farmsy decal. I think they're wasting money replacing them. If they drove around 4 years with no one noticing, what difference will it make now?

I have a ton of respect for these guys and it is pretty funny. The gesture is quite subtle, like the FedEx logo - once you see the arrow, you see it every time.

What I'd like to know is: What are those 3 nondescript almost-phallic looking objects on the other side of the tree supposed to be? They don't appear the same as the arm patch, which look to be agrarian.

Apparently, most folks don't look too closely at SP insignias.

I agree they look like bundled wheat sheaves on the patch but the images on the cruisers look a little different. Chickens aren't a bad idea though would probably meet with some ridicule. I'll let others worry about it.

No need to tell anyone about the chickens instead of wheat sheaves, they won't find out for four years. lol

Many people found humor in the whole thing until they mentioned it will be the tax payers that are the ones that are going to have to pay to replace the decals.

Well, if it went unnoticed for 4 years, honestly, I don't see the issue with leaving them on until the vehicles are rotated out of service (which isn't terribly long with police cruisers).
