Have your dentist from MD send your records and most recent xRays to the new dentist. Then the new one won't insist on doing full mouth xRays... which is probably most of the cost. And call around... all dentists do not charge the same. Ask what they charge for a new patient visit if your bring your xRays and don't have insurance. Many will give a "discount" if you don't have insurance. Works with eyeglasses too.

It's much easier if you use a mail order pharmacy based in Canada. Be careful as there are fraudulent operations selling counterfeit drugs. The legitimate international pharmacies source their drugs from outside north America where prices are a fraction of the retail US price. See link.
