The new year brings a host of state laws that took effect Tuesday — including Vermont paying people to move there.

The state is giving people up to $10,000 over two years for those employed by out-of-state companies who are willing to work remotely from Vermont in a home office or cooperative work space.

Are you sure that $10K is still an 'active offer?'
You'd need to save that $$ because, depending on where you live, and if you buy a house, you'll need it for your property taxes. (See the property tax thread.)
No will to change that 'problem' here in VT. I know many people, myself included, who are looking to retire out of state. It's an expensive place to live. (yea, yea, I know, it's beautiful here.....)
