IF everything goes to plan I hope to be in the Massachusetts, Vermont
and New Hampshire areas the first of May? As a railfan, I would like to try and
add some short line railroad roster shots to my photo collection. I'm trying to
find some locations where the Green Mountain Railroad might park their locomotives?
I found 8 Depot Square in Barre, VT as one possibility but the odds of one actually
being there when and if I go are slim to none I'm sure. I'm curious to see if the local
folks can recommend locations where I might get some photos of them? Sorry for the
long post, thank you very much!

When I worked in Rutland, I noticed quite a bit of railroad activity in the yards near the Howe Center, which is on Scale Avenue off of Strongs Avenue (by Ramunto's Pizzeria). You would take US Rt. 4 into Rutland. Have fun and "Good hunting!"
