Anyone in NW VT use Consumer Cellular?? I spoke with them yesterday and could save quite a bit of money by switching my plan from Verizon to them. I'm aware that they use AT&T towers, but I would appreciate hearing from anyone who currently has this service, if they are rural (like I am) and if the coverage is good.
I'm still searching around for a map of AT&T towers but am not having much luck so far.
I would suggest checking out USMobile instead. $45/mo unlimited for a single line -INCLUDING any taxes or add-on fees, throttling some at 100 gig, and it uses the Verizon towers you are used to. Prices go down for multiple lines. Be sure to fully read their terms of service. There are a lot of things in it that I like and would have if I was a reseller. The customer service is good too.
As with any reseller, Consumer Cellular included, at times of peak usage, the resellers are lower priority than the main company (Verizon, T-Mobile, or AT&T). Mine is typically slow/limited in morning drive time, YMMV.

Thank you so much Harry!! I will check out USMobile and their terms of service. $45/mo is good - better than Consumer Cellular.
Hope you are well and enjoying summer.
I have Consumer Cellular in rural Eastern Washington. I find them quite cost effective and good coverage. What you will see in Vermont I'm not certain.
