Doom .wads ? Wow, you're like twenty years late. But better now than never.

Are you referring to Doom III or the old 90s Doom / Doom ][ ?

I created several Doom wads back in the 90s, good times.

Doom 3 doesn't have that many good mods, hexen edge of chaos and grim are cool.

Doom 2 is really old but slowly it's getting better

But... it's a pseudo-3D engine from over twenty years ago. Great at the time but well past its prime. I mean, I was creating vastly more detailed and flexible maps (where you could actually walk underneath things, for instance) in 2000-2002 for Unreal Tournament.

Anyway, do you have some links you can share with us?

I use GZDoom and Zandronum, I also use to have Skulltag until it became outdated.

Here's a link to the Doom WAD archive.

https://www.doomworld.com/idgames/

Try some of them out, there's a few that are pretty amazing. I'm currently playing through a Doom wad called Threshold of Pain.
However, avoid the "Terry Wads" like a plague. Try to look at some of the user reviews before downloading them to make sure it's not a Terry Wad.
