The Following are FOUND (meaning I take no credit) pictures of (and around) Lynchburg...from Flickr...

I love these buildings (but I hate that they were converted to a CVS...)

Fall colors + Blue Ridge Mountains = Why we all love VA

Beautiful House (for sale if im not mistaken...at a very reasonable price)

Spring Time:

A bit of unfortunate decay:

Lynchburg College

New (kinda) hotel, was previously some type of mill or factory (I think)

We need some Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania pics! I'll have to try to get some up when I get a chance. Great pics though everyone, this thread will be my home away from home!

To keep this thread going...

First pic - VA Beach, VA on a weekend during peak season - you just have to get through the biting flies and mosquitos and snakes to get here but it is worth it and after all that is why DEET is made...

Second pic - Fishing at Lake Moomaw

Third pic - Backpacking on Cold Mountain, VA on a very cold fall day (and what turned out to be a very cold fall night)

Fourth pic - Although not Fredericksburg per se, it is a pic on the Rappahanock River just outside of Fredericksburg

Absolutely gorgeous! This is why I want to move back east...the fall colors, the trees, rolling hills, mountains, coastline...just breathtaking! We're in Colorado right now and it's pretty, but in a different way. Very little color and dry! Lots of dirt/dust and sage brush, majestic mountains covered in Pine and Aspens but I miss the fall color. We have lived in NC, GA, OH and now CO. Thinking VA is the place for us! Really appreciate all of the photos!

Some pictures that I took today. From two different lakes in SW VA:

I have many more but I have to go get the film developed. The first set (above) are all from my digital camera but I actually prefer film (that probably sounds kinda odd for a 20-year-old who has had digital all of his life practically). Hopefully those pics will be up by Monday. I'll try to take my cameras with me more often when I go out.
