But of course Harlem offers a lot more than Ward 7 or 8 does, especially when it comes to public transit and urban living. Harlem has like 8 subway lines going through it with like 30 stations. There are only 5 or 6 stations East of the River city proper. A lot of that part of town is suburban and lacks retail/entertainment among other things. It'll take decades for that part of DC to be gentrified and even then it won't be a U street or Columbia Heights.... it just isn't walkable like that.
