Not unexpectedly, Jeffery Thompson takes a plea deal and spills the beans on the immensely corrupt Mayor Vince Gray. We all knew it was coming, because Corruption Is King in DC politics.
In fact, half of DC's current and recent leadership have been investigated for corruption, with at least three Councilmember's convicted of felonies in the past two years.
Now that Vince Gray's campaign is all but finished, and charges likely, its time for DC to revisit the idea that DC should remain firmly in the grasp of black leadership. It's clear that the sons of the civil rights movement simply do not have the integrity of their fathers. Therefore, it's time for a reset that reflects the changing demographics of the City, someone fresh and without the shackles of a political dynasty to inform..... and skew.... their approach to public service and leadership.
Start your own thread. This is about Washington DC, race, politics, and corruption.
If you don't like the race component, then take it up with the Washington Post.
Your deflection is laughable and, frankly, embarrassing for you.
Hmmmm...I've been embarrassed many times in my life, this is certainly not one of them. I don't really want to start a thread. I'm quite ok posting in yours. I don't really see the issue with posting a parallel link to yours.
