Kharkiv - Chicago, Illinois (although its warmer year round and wetter), Toronto, Ontario (wetter and hotter in summer), Milwaukee, Wisconsin (wetter), Buffalo, New York (wetter). Also, all named cities have more unstable winters than Kharkiv (look at record highs in winter) What else?
Actually Kharkiv is actually about the same as Toronto in the summer, those mean averages are deflated by 0.5c.
For where I live in New Zealand, there isn't a match. I think Eureka, California is about as close as it gets, but I wouldn't call them similar climates.
For NZ as a whole, there are no comparable climates in North America.
Wellington is naturally cool to mild, whereas San Francisco is affected by hyper localised fog that burns off to an extremely hot climate as soon as you go 1km inland.
There are NO comparable climates to New Zealand in the US - end of story.

Aight, aight, JK. But like, NZ is incredibly mild, and there is some VERY mild places on the west coast of the USA. like San Fransisco, and Seattle, which has similar summers to Auckland (winters of Seattle are a bit cold for "similar), San Fran and Wellington have the same temp range. Seattle and Christchurch are also somewhat similar. Only thing NZ doesn't have is the Mediteranean rain pattern.
