It pretty much went from spring to fall here in the northeast (slight exaggeration, but it was certainly a fairly cool summer). Ironically it'll
be in the 80s the next couple days. That was a rareity in July this year! But then temperatures will fall back into the 60s and 70s. Perfect!
Fall is probably my worst season and November my worst month. Has nothing to do with the climate but is connected with the shortening of the days.
In any case, with temperatures in my neck of the woods running up to 20 degrees above climatology, fall is taking it's own sweet time getting here and I couldn't be happier.
Autumn auspiciously arrives in north Texas! Happy fall, ya'll!
Well, Autumn, very appropriate for you to start this thread!! Well, yesterday was decidedly un-autumn- like in north Texas, but a cool front came in overnight. Today it's misty, about 68 degrees and slightly windy. I love the cooler weather, and yes, autumn is my favorite season!
We've had awesome weather for August and September (so far) and I'm thinking it will go right through October! June/July were cooler than normal so warm temps are super!
I love Fall so I'm thinking it will be perfect, great picture by the way!
