Quick warning about apartment complex at 13th&Maize WICHITA (Park: to rent, neighborhood)

The new manager is rude, abrasive and unprofessional. This apartment was rented based on the coherent management with a positive attitude. The new management has been in place one day, and I've already been harassed.

It is my fault that I was two weeks late with paying the rent. I had some unexpected medical expenses. But there is no excuse for what happened.

Management pounded the door like gestapo police, made NO formal introduction and went on to bark at me like I was some kind of an animal. A "luxury complex" should not have a "slum lord mentality". It is very unprofessional and shockingly offensive.

I've never seen someone so rude and unprofessional. I moved here for the positive attitude and mood. I have been faithfully paying rent for years, now.

I won't stand for being treated this way and you should not, either. Management should not ever be abusive, especially toward women.

You should pay rent on time. However, I live here and have never been late on my rent... I can say there are other serious issues with the management of this complex. They're very rude and don't care if you leave because there's a long list of people waiting to move in.

These apartments look nice on the outside, and they're in a good neighborhood. But the inside of the apartments is very dated and a lot of the buildings have structural issues. My apartment has been affected by major structural problems and the management has treated me like crap. They really don't care about the residents. And the rent is way too high.

Nice apartments and generally well taken care of but policy issues are a different case. After rain storms often the gates remain open on this gated community and remain that way for up to four weeks at a time. Advertising showed only small pets allowed but without notification now there are big dogs. The clubhouse is only available during working hours but for certain tenants they are allowed to use at night. Some people are offered the over 55 discount but it isn't offered to other people over that age. The regional manager informed people to write to corporate because that what all tenants are instructed to do which is not only a lie but a way to move people out who try to right a wrong. This company has gotten too big and have no regard for their tenants. Turnover of good tenants is occuring frequently and all of this happens because of the top passed down attitude. It's sad . . . nice facility but there is total disregard for the tenants. That will come to the surface when people aren't lined up to rent. There are better options available.

You do realize that you're dang lucky the old management was crappy and let you go 2 weeks without filing for eviction. In the state of ks you get a 3 day notice and if you get to day 4 and haven't paid they can file with the court. You get 2 weeks in and don't pay it almost guarantee you'll be late again next month and every month after. You find a place you can live for free that isn't your mommy and daddy's you let me know because I'll be there in a flash. Common sense folks, pay your rent management will leave you alone!

LOL, you didn't pay your rent and just expected nothing to happen. You sound like a deadbeat with a bad attitude to me.
