Any economic system which results in poverty should not be a valid economic system and should be changed. There is no moral or logical reason as to why a successful economy must contain a significant percentage of its population as living in poverty. An economic system, at the end of the day, is a configuration. A configuration is manmade and can be changed.

Well in america its a conspiracy. A form of control. There has to be super wealthy and super poor. The middle class is diminishing because of the lack of control over it, so the government is slowly making its way towards there being no middle class at all. This may sound preposterous to many but I don't care, I think its true. Think about it, if one in poverty has to rely on food stamps and government subsidies to survive, and then the very minute they start to make more money(trying to better their life) they loose ALL of that help, so then they revert back to it. Thats called falling through the cracks in my book. So those people say screw it and stay in poverty and pop out kids and live in households wherein only one living there out of 6 or 8 relieves the mail and everyone else receives mail elsewhere. They each get max food stamps, the main one receiving mail there gets to claim all the expenses as if their paying for it themselves on their minimum wage so they get a $10,000 tax return. Ive seen this many many times before and just shake my head. People end up "frauding" out the system to survive because the system has created an impossible situation for them to get out of.

This is all in theory of course.

Point to one viable economic system which does not involve poverty. We'll wait.

Communism. It just needs to be tried (again) with the correct people in charge.

Because the dozens of failures of communism were just because of the people in charge?
