Have a nice trip, and good luck with the interview.
Good idea. I was going to tell her the same thing!!1

I've never been that route. Maybe I'll have to check it out, too!

I sat with my road maps out yesterday while waiting for my car brakes to be finished and will probably do as WyoNewk suggests, depending on how peppy I feel after 8 or so hours of driving

can always hit it on the way back!

I just got back from my fabulous road trip to North Eastern Wyoming! Georgia and her hubby were above and beyond accommodating ! (sorry I didn't get to meet you as well, Septocaine... hopefully I will get the job so there will be a next time). Everyone I met in Wyoming was super nice (but that's not a surprise!).

Wright (http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs490.snc3/26774_581930541010_163906618_33849377_2115414_n.jp g - broken link)is a really nice little community in beautiful rolling hills. (link is to a picture I took)

I did the side trip to Devil's Tower on the way back. What a pretty stretch of road

I went by the way of Moorcroft-Hulett-Belle Fourche. And I lucked out...it's National Park week so the entry fee was waved. I'll post my pictures once I get settled. Whew..long drive. Time to get the car unloaded, and eat a late breakfast.

Catch you all later!

awwwwwwwwwwwwww... I'm sorry Froggie. I just read in today's paper that there were hardly any teacher retirements in the district -- presumably due to the weak economy and high insurance costs.

Good luck with future interviews.

I am so sorry Froggie. I know we were all hoping for the very best. Like aprilia-ryan said, keep on trying!

My daughter is an elementary school teacher and her hubby a band director. They have tried for two years now to get into districts that are at least close to each other! There are so many applicants (up to 4,000 per posted position) here in the DFW Metroplex that you almost have to be a relative or have a real "in" to get a position in a decent school.
