Description: A division of Centura Health, Littleton Adventist was opened in 1989 in response to growing development in south Metro Denver, from Littleton and Englewood to Highlands Ranch and Castle Rock. It’s affiliated under Rocky Mountain Adventist Healthcare, and is located just north of C-470, near the intersection of Broadway and Mineral Avenue. Littleton features services including obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, surgical, radiology, cardiopulmonary, rehabilitation, a Level II trauma center, and 24-hour emergency care. All of its rooms are private. The hospital’s Family Life Center offers a wide selection of classes and programs. This 139-licensed-­bed hospital represents an extension of the Adventist healing mission. In 2003 the hospital completed a $38 million expansion that added about 100,000 square feet to its original 210,000-square-­foot structure, most in its emergency room area, but also adding a neonatal intensive care unit.
