Description: This fairly new pub (it opened in 2009) is popular with the young professionals that populate Miami’s financial district. With 14 beers on tap and a menu full of hearty fare like fish and chips and shepherd’s pie, it’s a good place to grab a pint and a hearty dinner. There are also plenty of whiskey-fueled cocktails for those thirsting for something a little stronger. A serious sports bar, the pub has 20 HD televisions, one HD projector, and season tickets to a slew of sports including the NFL, NCAA, NBA, NHL, and UFC. International games for soccer and rugby are also shown. One night a month (Wed) there is a live music night. Call for games they are showing and schedules.

Description: Perched 250 feet above the ground on the 25th floor of the Conrad Hotel, Level 25 offers exceptional wines and cocktails with a great view. Despite its location in a hotel, the bar is surprisingly popular with locals, which can partly be attributed to its fantastic happy hours and drink specials. The phenomenal views probably don’t hurt either. Atrio, the well-received restaurant also located on the hotel’s 25th floor offers a small bar menu filled with tasty appetizers and small plates. Half-off bottles are featured on Wed and $5 glasses are available from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The unlimited mimosa and Bloody Mary brunch on Sun is also a big hit with fashionable 20- and 30-somethings.

Description: Espresso and decadent Italian desserts are a lovely change of pace for calmer Miami evenings. There are also fizzy cocktails, sangria, and wine for those who need something stronger in order to relax or just a nightcap. The cafe’s menu offers savory late-night options like panninis, antipasti, and thin-crust pizzas. Traveling alone? Settle into one of the plush, velvet couches with a good book. If nothing else, the air-kiss, Euro crowd that inhabits much of the restaurant makes for entertaining eavesdropping.

Description: This lounge has several South Florida locations and features a live band at 8 p.m. almost every night of the week. Tuesday is live jazz; Thursday’s entertainment has a Latin flair. At midnight a DJ takes over so don’t show up too late if the live music is what you’re coming for. The extensive martini list is also a draw.
