Then you turn it into a chic urban-industrial space with an imaginative layout and whimsical decor. And then you fill it up with great art, much of it from local artists. The facility itself was created by artists, such as Kevin (Kevro) Rouse, a Delray resident who became the driving force behind this unique concept. Now it’s a complete compound with a bar, art gallery, outdoor painting patio, and photography video studio. And the bar area features some great work by local artists and photographers, along with an eclectic collection of beers and wines. Kevro’s Art Bar is filled with a wonderful collection of furniture and furnishings, both modern and retro, and in a dazzling assortment of colors. In fact the furniture, in its own way, is truly a work of contemporary design, with an exciting assortment of textures, colors, angles, and shapes. The artworks on the walls resonate with different styles, ranging from modern to abstract. A visit to Kevro’s will certainly get your artistic juices flowing. And it’s also a darn good time.
