Description: This is a wonderful place from which to view the nocturnal activity on Atlantic Avenue. It’s a restaurant, however the bar has always attracted a well-dressed, sophisticated crowd. Built on the site of an old auction house in 1996, the place is chic-modern in its decor, with striking design elements all over, like checkered terrazzo floors, soft lighting from wall sconces, and eclectic art on the walls. There are comfortable couches on which to enjoy your drink. And the drinks are excellent. Some of the favorites are the espresso martini, the pomegranate martini, and the champagne cocktail. And 32 East is known for the variety and the quality of its wine list.
