Description: Established by the Miami-Dade Parks system, EcoAdventures offers several kayaking excursions at Crandon Park. For beginners, there’s the Sea Kayak and Snorkel Adventure, which takes kayakers out to the shallow waters of the Bear Cut Preserve. Tropical fish, coastal birds, and spotted eagle rays are regular sights. For kayakers interested in a romantic setting, EcoAdventures organizes a sunset kayak trip to Bear Cut Preserve where kayakers can watch the moon rise while floating on pristine waters. Lastly, for history buffs and those interested in nature, the Key Biscayne Kayak Adventure explores the shorelines of the bay which abound with birds and marine life. Rates for all 3 kayaking trips vary—the Key Biscayne Kayak Adventure is $30, the Sunset Adventure is $40, and the Sea Kayak and Snorkel Adventure is $70. Closed-toe shoes are required for all 3 excursions. Two quarts of water per person, high-level sunscreen, and hats are strongly encouraged. All 3 adventures can be booked by phone.
