Description: Get out your overalls, your old plaid shirts, your straw hat, and wrap that ole bandana around your neck ‘cause we’re goin’ fiddle-pickin’, friend. Get out the banjo, the guitar, and the harmonica, ‘cause we’re gonna be stompin’ our feet and clappin’ our hands till the sun goes down. Darned if it don’t bring me back to my old Kentucky home! The music’s great (and you’ll see it for yourself—it really is hard to stay in your seat once they get to jammin’). Bluegrass is one of the relatively few authentic American art forms. It’s played very well here. The food’s good. And it doesn’t hurt that the whole thing takes place in a scenic park right at the beach. Held in mid to late Feb; admission fee per car.
