Description: Bonefish Grill has developed a solid reputation as a place where the seafood is consistently excellent, the ambience is friendly and lively, and you always leave happy. It resembles, in some respects, a big-city tavern but it’s right here in the neighborhood. It’s got a wood-burning grill that endows its fish and seafood with a full, rich quality.You can start with bang bang shrimp fried in a spicy sauce, try the increasingly popular edamame soybeans steamed and spiced. The mussels Josephine are shipped in from Prince Edward Island then sautéed with tomatoes, garlic, basil, and lemon wine sauce. The grilled fish specialties, in fact, resemble a United Nations of the sea; there’s wild gulf grouper, Alaskan halibut, Chilean sea bass, Snake River rainbow trout from Idaho, and Norwegian salmon. The sauces used to dress them are all homemade—warm mango salsa, chimichurri sauce, lemon butter, and pan Asian. They give the fish a wonderful depth and flavor. You must try the pecan Parmesan crusted rainbow trout, accompanied by artichoke hearts, basil, and lemon butter. Cocktails like the pomegranate martini and the winter white sosmopolitan get very high marks from the patrons.
