Getting Here, Getting Around

The Tampa Bay area may win the prize for the most ways to get to a major city in the United States. With two international airports and host of smaller municipal and executive airports, two international seaports and myriad smaller marinas, plus the usual highways, byways, and rail service, getting here should not be a problem.

Nor is getting around once you’re here too terribly difficult, as most of the metropolitan areas are laid out in an orderly grid pattern. If you find yourself in the areas that aren’t and that wind and meander like a confused snail’s trail, just take a deep breath and remember: You’re in Florida, Land of Flowers, where the pace is a tad more relaxed. Find someone to ask or pull over and pull out the maps. You’ll get there.
