Description: A Greek Revival mansion decorated with original furnishings, the Nott house is known locally as White Columns for the distinctive Doric columns that wrap around. Built in 1853, it’s an example of the prosperity that shipbuilding brought to this community on the Kennebunk River. Be sure to hit the gift shop in the carriage house. Open Wednesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. from mid-June through mid-October.
