Description: Branson’s largest first-run movie theater opened in March 2000 at the Factory Shoppes at Branson Meadows. This Shopro Theatre features 11 screens, and each theater has plush continental stadium seating and digital sound. They’re calling it “stealth cinema design” and saying it’s the first one of its type in Missouri. All we know is that the new design provides for a great moviegoing experience. The seats are comfortable, and you will have no trouble seeing over the person in front of you. The theaters are so small that every seat is close to the screen. They even have cup holders, and we know how important those are when you’re trying to juggle popcorn and soft drinks and hold hands at the same time. There’s an arcade room and a private party room as well. Tickets for movies beginning before 6 p.m. are $5 per person. Movies starting after 6 p.m. are $7 for adults, $6 for adults 55 and older, and $5 for children 3 through 11. Children two and younger always get in free. Each Tuesday is “bring your own bag” night. They’ll fill it with popcorn for free.
