Description: Branson is proud to be the home of the Roy Rogers and Dale Evans Museum, formerly of Victorville, California. Lovers of the old Western show and Sons of the Pioneers music will delight in the memorabilia and interactive exhibits on display at the museum. Right out front is the larger-than-life Trigger, a reminder of the famous couple who devoted their lives to making young and old happy by keeping the spirit of the American West alive. Housed inside the exhibit walls are memories and treasures of two lifetimes and all the couple loved—a permanent reminder of a simple and innocent time when many Americans dreamed of living the King of Cowboy’s exciting adventures. You’ll find family photos dating from Roy and Dale’s childhood, colorful costumes, parade saddles, memorabilia from the silver screen and the “golden age” of television, artifacts from Roy’s real-life safari adventures, fan mail, comic strips, Roy and Dale’s Remington gun collection, tributes to his friends and sidekicks, and much, much more. The museum is open from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. year-round, but it’s usually closed on Sunday and in winter months on Monday, so call ahead. Admission is $13 plus tax for adults, $6.50 for children, ages 13-17. The Happy Trails Theater is $27 plus tax for adults. Children 13-17, $13.50, and those younger than 13 get in free. Save $3.50 per person on a combo ticket for both the museum and show.
