Description: Right in the heart of The Strip, across from Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Museum, Table Rock Helicopters offers a variety of tours, starting with the basic 5-mile flight to the edge of Table Rock Lake and up to the 50-mile round trip to Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The 5-mile flight gives you about three minutes in the air. Along the way you’ll see MO 165, the Welk Resort, Point Royale golf course, and, during the peak season, motorists patiently crawling along in traffic. The 10-mile flight lasts twice as long as the 5-mile flight and takes you on both sides of Table Rock Dam, past the Shepherd of the Hills Fish Hatchery, over Lake Taneycomo, and near Chateau on the Lake. The 15-mile flight takes you to Baird Mountain and out to Indian Point, where you can get a better idea of exactly how many resorts and marinas line the shoreline. This flight lasts approximately eight minutes. The 20-mile tour includes views of Table Rock Dam, downtown Branson, and the 76 strip. The 25-mile tour passes Shepherd of the Hills Homestead, Silver Dollar City, Table Rock Lake, and Lake Taneycomo. The 30-mile flight goes east to Powersite Dam, south of town to Table Rock Dam, and past the Chateau on the Lake. The 50-mile tour takes passengers over the historic town of Eureka Springs and near the Passion Play. Both of Table Rock Helicopters’ birds can seat up to six passengers and are operated by experienced pilots who offer a narration of the scenery on each trip that guests can listen to through headphones. Reservations are not necessary, and prices are the same for adults and children. Children two and younger ride for free on all flights. Table Rock Helicopters opens at 10 a.m. in the spring and fall and closes each day when the crowds begin to thin out. During the summer they are open from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. No flights December through February.
